CFC donors are what make the Combined Federal Campaign a success and on this page of our site, we have information on the Local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC), their role, and how important it is to recognise sizable donors from Virginia and other US organizations.
Each local campaign is managed by a Local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC) and this is comprised of federal employees. The committee is responsible for the overseeing the local Combined Federal Campaign. This is done in accordance with the CFC regulations and policies. The LFCC makes admission determinations for local charities and they are responsible for selecting a Principal Combined Fund Organization (PCFO) to administer the day to day operations of the campaign. The PCFO also serves as a fiscal agent.
The LFCC have a number of responsibilities that they must adhere to. They serve as the central source of information regarding the local CFC among federal employees in their zone. All the members of the LFCC have to understand all the campaign regulations and procedures. The responsibilities of members include, but are not limited to the following.
Recognizing sizable CFC donors from Virginia and other US organizations is the key to the success of campaigns and you can search for different charities, non-profits, and federations that are eligible for donations this year on our Donors page. CFC donor recognition gifts and awards are a big part of this and there are a number of levels with various awards including recognition coins and more. Even unusual gifts like online legal bonuses from Casinos-Canadiens can be a big success for promoting your cause over casino games night. The donor recognition awards programs work really well and can even include plaques and certificates. Each department agency or reporting unit must notify their CFC zone about the different awards they would like to introduce for their donors.
Showing love for donors in Virginia and other US organizations is one of our most important activities. Recognition and appreciation build morale and a strong foundation for the following year's campaign. There are no cost and low-cost options available too. It is really important to show donor recognition especially considering the rise in contributors using online pledge methods. Offering a donor gift provides the opportunity for key workers to follow up with Federal employees and when thank you cards and other gifts appear in the workplace it reminds others who intend to pledge to do so as well.
